Code of conduct for teachers, coaches & school representatives
🟦 GENERAL PRINCIPLES
Teachers, coaches, and school representatives play a key role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and professionalism of the competition.
They are expected to act as role models and uphold the highest standards of conduct at all times.
🟦 RESPONSIBILITIES & OBLIGATIONS
• Be fully aware of and comply with:
• Competition rules
• Category regulations
• Event procedures
• Ensure timely submission of music:
• All music must be delivered before the start of the competition
• Ensure athlete safety:
• Maintain a safe environment throughout the event
• Supervise athletes at all times
• Ensure athlete awareness:
• Athletes must be informed about all competition rules
• Athletes must comply with all regulations
🟦 ETHICS & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
• Take active measures to:
• Prevent discrimination
• Prevent any form of violence or misconduct
• Promote the dignity and reputation of the profession:
• Through behavior
• Through actions
• Through communication
• Respect the judging panel:
• Acknowledge and accept their role and decisions
• Avoid public criticism during the event:
• Toward athletes
• Toward judges
• Toward other coaches
• Avoid public discussions regarding:
• Results
• Judging decisions
• This includes discussions on social media and online platforms
🟦 VENUE & BEHAVIOR RULES
• Strictly prohibited within the venue:
• Smoking
• Vaping
• Alcohol consumption
• Coaches must also ensure:
• Athletes do not engage in any of the above
🟦 ROLE MODEL EXPECTATION
• Act as a positive example for athletes by demonstrating:
• Respect
• Discipline
• Ethical behavior
🟦 COMPETITION PARTICIPATION
• Ensure that all athletes:
• Participate in the award ceremony
• Follow all official competition procedures
🟦 COMPLIANCE
• Full compliance with this Code of Conduct is mandatory
• Coaches and representatives must:
• Follow these rules themselves
• Ensure that other coaches and team members also adhere to them
